A year full of emotions
Fraglia Vela Malcesine’s 2024 season has come to a close, and we are excited to share the amazing results and successes we achieved this year! In this newsletter you will find an incredible summary of the season just ended.
Regattas held in Fraglia Vela Malcesine in 2024
17 regattas organized over the course of the year for 70 days of racing, 167 water races held and over 1,950 athletes registered!
19,885 total attendees who passed through our club on those days taking advantage of the refreshment point and services offered.
Competitive Teams of Fraglia Vela Malcesine
4 competitive teams with a total of 54 students who traveled between Italy and Europe during the season, covering a combined total of 70,000 km with their vans.
There were 13 OPTIMIST trips, 10 ILCA trips and 6 for the Techno293 team and 9 for the iQFOiL team.

20 FVM Members Awarded for distinguishing themselves during the year among Italian, Mediterranean, European and World Championships of which 12 gold medals of FVM Members joined the Golden Roll of the Club.

1,300 athletes from 32 different nations of the world who, came to train at FVM with an average stay of 10 days.
Total attendance during the year 8,645!
Sailing School Children and Youth
137 children were initiated into our sport this year, with a total of 44 Sailing courses and 97 Windsurfing courses for younger children. All carried out in 10 weeks with a total of 200 hours on the water. 44, on the other hand, were Youth courses held over 10 weeks and with a total of 100 hours on the water.
Adult and Private Sailing School
682 students took to the water between:
private lessons with 298 students in 602 hours, Sailings with skippers and a total of 77 people on board divided into 62 hours, 9 Team Building groups that in a total of 47 hours gained experience aboard our boats, and last but not least, 443 hours of Professional Coaching for 147 sailors and windsurfers.
FVM Sports Activities: Rental and Gymnasium
In its second season, the FVM Water Centre rental service, with a total of 420 hours of water activities, closed the season with 217 rentals of dinghies, windsurf boards, SUPs and kayaks.
In 298 days of annual activity at the FVM GYM, 11,050 visits were recorded!
