Fraglia Vela Malcesine IQFoil team

If you live on Lake garda, you cannot ignore the vibrant windsurfing movement. Sailboards populate our lake, filling it with color.

The Techno293 class caters to children and teens ages 9 to 16. Thanks to its versatile board, the class is suitable for a wide range of competitors, divided into categories, each with a sail suited to the ability and age of the competitors. The introduction of the Foil board as an Olympic discipline has undeniably generated growing interest and popularity for this new category.

From the children’s windsurfing school, it is possible to continue the sport by joining the Techno293 team and later the IQFOIL team. It starts with a pre-competitive club activity, and then moves on to the actual competitive activity.

The Fraglia’s Techno293 team was born after the 2012 summer school with a small core of enthusiasts, while the IQFOIL team has a much more recent history and has existed for only two years. To date they count as many as 14 athletes, who train consistently and keep the Fraglia colors high.
