2025 \u2013<\/strong> The&nbsp;<strong>Inclusive 2.4mR World Championship 2025<\/strong>&nbsp;officially concluded today at&nbsp;<strong>Fraglia Vela Malcesine<\/strong>, after four intense days of top-level Open and Para sailing on the stunning waters of&nbsp;<strong>Lake Garda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event brought together the very best of the international sailing community, uniting&nbsp;<strong>sport, inclusion, culture, and friendship<\/strong>&nbsp;in a true celebration of excellence, with sailors representing&nbsp;<strong>17 nations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure very first race.<br>A well-deserved&nbsp;<strong>second place<\/strong>&nbsp;went to Britain\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Megan Pascoe (GBR 173)<\/strong>, who consistently ranked among the top competitors throughout the week.<br>In&nbsp;<strong>third place<\/strong>, after an impressive comeback in the final days, was&nbsp;<strong>Urs Infanger (SUI 1022)<\/strong>&nbsp;of Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Open ranking<\/strong>&nbsp;matches the Overall classification, while in the&nbsp;<strong>NOD ranking (including NOD Para)<\/strong>, Italy\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Antonio Squizzato (ITA 112)<\/strong>&nbsp;claimed the top spot, followed by&nbsp;<strong>Marko Dahlberg (FIN 196)<\/strong>&nbsp;in second and&nbsp;<strong>Otto Dahlberg (FIN 203)<\/strong>&nbsp;in third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the&nbsp;<strong>NOD Para category<\/strong>, Italy once again shone with&nbsp;<strong>Antonio Squizzato (ITA 112)<\/strong>&nbsp;taking first place, followed by&nbsp;<strong>Chuck Allen (USA 186)<\/strong>&nbsp;and another Italian athlete,&nbsp;<strong>Davide Di Maria (ITA 104)<\/strong>, in third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image Week of High-Level Sailing and Inclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Championship program spanned five days: an opening ceremony and practice race followed by four competition days.<br>Sailors faced&nbsp;<strong>challenging and variable weather conditions<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 light afternoon breezes during the first three days and a stronger&nbsp;<strong>Peler<\/strong>&nbsp;wind on the final morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A&nbsp;<strong>single fleet of 56 competitors<\/strong>&nbsp;raced together from start to finish, completing&nbsp;<strong>10 races<\/strong>&nbsp;thanks to the excellent work of the race committee. All categories \u2014&nbsp;<strong>Open, NOD, and NOD Para<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 competed side by side, embodying the true spirit of inclusion that defines this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure event\u2019s partners and sponsors.<br>Competitors and guests enjoyed generous buffets featuring local specialties, paired with&nbsp;<strong>Tinazzi wines<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Stiegl beer<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Redoro Frantoi olive oil<\/strong>&nbsp;on bruschetta, and delicious meats from&nbsp;<strong>Speck Stube<\/strong>, among many other local delicacies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A particularly meaningful highlight was the participation of&nbsp;<strong>ULSS 9 Scaligera\u2019s disability support associations<\/strong>, whose guests were able to experience sailing firsthand through guided visits and scenic outings aboard the historic vessel&nbsp;<strong>Siora Veronica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
